We are looking for a marketing communications coordinator to join our team and create visual and written content that authentically reflects our and our client’s brands. This position will primarily entail collaborating with the department lead to develop and execute social media, email marketing, and content campaigns for Wonderful and our clients. Our ideal candidate loves creating social media visuals and captions, writing and distributing email campaigns, and contributing to blog and article-centric content. They will have an understanding of content management and can quickly adapt to existing systems and platforms and/or contribute to the development of new processes. Experience in managing social media for a brand is a must, with extra consideration given to candidates with a background in multichannel marketing teams with a focus on conversion, lead generation, or integrated campaign development.

This is a role that touches internal and external brand marketing, with a clear growth path and continued education opportunities. Objectives of this Role:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of client and agency brand marketing strategy
  • Ensure all marketing efforts serve to achieve immediate and long-term goals, identifying and executing improvements for processes, content, and lead generation
  • Prepare marketing activity reports and metrics for measuring program success
  • Conduct market research, competitive analyses, strategic planning, and identifying consumer trends
  • Support the maintenance and development of internal tools, including SaaS and management platforms
  • Further knowledge and education regularly through workshops, research, and seminars, and offer new ideas for marketing initiatives
  • Write and design (using an established design system) content for websites, social media channels, and email distribution

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:

  • Develop visual and written content for various marketing channels including social media, email, and website, as designated by the client or internal department leader
  • Support the management of internal planning systems
  • Support the marketing department lead in evaluating and establishing marketing plans and strategy via setting objectives, planning and organizing presentations, and developing content
  • Communicate campaign objectives, timelines, and deliverables to internal and external teams, and provide instructions for use
  • Support in identifying and tracking speaking, conference, advertising, and award opportunities on behalf of Wonderful and its clients
  • Maintain a directory and inventory of sales support materials, ensuring all resources are current and accurate; coordinate the creation of new materials as needed with the department leader
  • Take research, interviews, and outlines on various subjects and develop them into longer-form content

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, or communications
  • Past work experience as a marketing coordinator or similar role
  • Experience with social media advertising/boosting
  • Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing
  • Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills
  • Working knowledge of design and email software, and the ability to adapt to new technologies and platforms quickly

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience with research using data analytics software
  • Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and customer relationship management (CRM) tools
  • Experience working within and managing budgets
  • Photography and creative copywriting experience
  • Firm understanding of SEO as it pertains to website content development
